The New York State of Health program, also known as the Affordable Care Act or ObamaCare, provides state residents (individuals, families, and small businesses) with the opportunity to shop for a low-cost quality health insurance plan. The program will also help people find out if they are eligible for Medicaid and Child Health Plus. The enrollment period is from October 1, 2013 through March 31, 2014.
